Angela is perhaps best known for her years in the now iconic soap CROSSROADS as the troublesome Iris Scott, which saw her voted as 'Britain's Biggest Bitch' over Joan Collins!

Angela most recently starred in the thriller FATAL ENCOUNTER at the Gordon Craig Theatre, Stevenage.

Born in South London, Angela made her first stage appearance for the Young Vic Theatre Company as Jane Harris in ‘City Sugar’.

Since then she has appeared in many theatre productions playing Betty Blunder in ‘Where The Rainbow Ends’ with Guy Sinner in (Brighton), Dora in ‘Night Must Fall’ opposite Maggie Tyzack (Greenwich), as well as tours of ‘How The Other Half Loves’ playing Mary, ‘Sailor Beware’ playing Shirley and repertory seasons in productions such as ‘Murder By The Book’, ‘Murder In Mind’ and playing Mrs Manningham in ‘Gaslight’.

Angela worked for Les Blair at the BBC making an improvised film called the ‘Whip Hand’ playing Chrissie and has since then made numerous T.V appearances including ‘You Get The Truth’ (BBC), ‘Upstairs’ Downstairs’ (BBC), ‘The Whip Hand’ (BBC), ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ (BBC) and ‘Coronation Street’ (ITV). Angela is probably best known for her portrayal of troublesome Iris Scott in the long running soap ‘Crossroads’ (Central).

Film credits include ‘The Wicker Man’ and ’The 39 Steps’.

Angela has appeared in pantomime playing the principal role of Peter in ‘Peter Pan’ in Sunderland and at the Epsom Playhouse, Mrs. Cratchet in ‘A Christmas Carol’ and has played Fairy Godmother and Principal roles in ‘Mother Goose’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘Snow White’ and ‘Dick Whittington’ in Birmingham, Southsea, Glasgow and Crewe.

Christmas 2012 saw Angela starring as the Wicked Queen in SNOW WHITE at the Medina Theatre, Newport Isle of Wight followed by Fairy Godmother in CINDERELLA at the Leatherhead Theatre.

Panto season 2015 saw Angela starring as the Good Fairy in BEAUTY & THE BEAST at the Deco Theatre, Northampton.
